Outside my window...
Our lovely maple tree is swaying in the wind and the sky is a brilliant blue. Its a beautiful summer day.
I am thinking...
I am extrememly excited to wear my new civil war dress this weekend with my cage to the Gettysburg reenactment for the 4th of july.
I am thankful for...
Having God as my heavenly Father having shown me a need for modesty and being a keeper at the home. (Titus 2 and 1 Timothy 2 and deuteronomy 22)
I am wearing...
My vintage 1960's red floral jumper and a white blouse underneath. I love wearing spring dresses!
I am reading...
The Bible, specifically Matthew and Genesis
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and A peep behind the scenes from the lamplighter company
I am creating,
napkins for our picnic at gettysburg reenactment this weekend
One of my favorite things...
Being able to read music and be able to play many hymns on our piano!
For education this week...
Sewing, learning to new pieces on the piano, baking, learning God's word memorizing, and studying for my drivers permit
A keeper at home skill I am using/learning...
sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking, cooking, organizing, and helping my father and mother with tasks.
A spiritual lesson I am learning...
That I need to be a City on a hill, even when it comes to the way I dress. (Matthew 5)
A godly character trait I plan to work on...
To tame my tongue and say kind things all the time.
Scripture I am memorizing...
Matthew 5
I am praying that...
For my future husband, for my father and mother, for the Raimundos as they are on a missions trip in the Dominican Republic and for my unsaved friends
For the rest of the week...
memorizing onward christian soldiers on the piano, memorizing scripture, baking more cookies and cooking food for the reenactment, leaving for the reenactment on thursday, soaking my new leather boots so I don't get anymore blisters, tending to the ever growing garden, crocheting a baby blanket, finishing sewing the napkins, and praying constantly.
A picture I'd like to share...
